1. What I collect
Nothing. tools.vidu.dev is a personal site run by Gayan Viduranga in Sri Lanka. It has no accounts, sign-up or contact forms, analytics or advertising, and sets no cookies of its own.
2. What you put into the tools
The site is plain static files with no database or API behind it. The text, files and images you use in a tool are processed in your browser and are not sent to me.
3. Storage on your device
Your browser's localStorage keeps your theme, your recently used tools and some per-tool settings or last input. It never leaves your device. Clear this site's data in your browser to remove it.
4. Third parties
- The hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page, browser).
- Libraries and fonts load from jsDelivr, cdnjs, sql.js.org and Google Fonts, which see your IP address as they would on any site that uses them.
- The Background Remover downloads its AI model on first use and runs it on your device. Your image is not uploaded.
Their own privacy policies apply, as they do to external sites this site links to.
5. Your rights
I hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access or delete on my side. Where the GDPR applies, the processing above (serving pages securely) rests on legitimate interests, and you can still complain to your local data protection authority.
